Delicious

As much as I enjoy and appreciate other writer's delicious words, I do admit a need to write more of my own words. Since my latest online class started this week "Writer's Workshop" I will be doing a lot of writing practice.

Today I did two-timed-freewrites. Nothing profound but writing nonetheless. I wrote about books I perused at Border's, like this one travel collection from the Travelers' Tales series "Her Fork in the Road" Women Celebrate Food and Travel. Once again delicious subjects, but I refrained from purchase, this time. Then I wrote how I caught a whiff of suntan lotion on Post Street and how powerful scent is to the memory, instantly transporting you. For a second I was on a tropical beach with an umbrella drink in my hand.
