Power's Mansion Inn Victorian mansion.
Power Club where he offered us, and the other guests, a beer tasting accompanied by conversation and fascinating stories he shared about his life experiences. My impression is that he is very friendly and inspiring, as well as successful and close to his family. He's the kind of guy that inspires you to want to do more too. George said he should have a seminar on PBS. Alfred also cooked our breakfast the next morning. He truly wears many hats.
Lake Clementine trail a fairly easy two mile hike. The signs warned of bears and snakes, but all we saw were two deer.

After our hike we stopped for lunch in Placerville and then I got to browse at "The Bookery" a big used bookstore. There just wasn't enough time, however; I did manage to buy three books.
