We just starting 'composting' at our apartment bldg. This is something I should have started doing forever ago (if i knew...) Since salads are one of my specialties, I always have vegetable scraps = perfect for compost. Banana peels, egg shells, even paper products are compostable.
I got some Bio Bags (100% biodegradable) and a small container with a lid. Then we just dump it in the green bin for trash pick up. It's nice to do something helpful for the environment no matter how small it may seem.
