I haven't been blogging much because I'm currently involved in 2 writing workshops that require a lot of my words! Blogging will probably be sparse for the next month, in case I have any readers out there (you never know?)
I'm just trying to keep up with the falling, failing, flailing economy news and the election countdown. I'm wondering why SF has 22 local measures this election, it seems like a lot, plus there are 12 state propositions. This weekend we will probably study the materials and sift through the propaganda.
Lately I've been finding old friends on Facebook, a number of old skool peeps from my radio job. It's fun to reconnect.
Check out the Day of the Dead show at Somarts if you can. It's one of the best. I'm always amazed at different ideas and statements the artists create here in their installations. The reception was last Saturday, but the show runs through Nov. 1. Here's a video to entice you created by my one and only.
(the above photo I took at the de Young museum where the trees in back have the best autumn leaves)
