Chapter 4 - Creativity

I only found parts of this chapter interesting & helpful. To me it seemed to be more about breaking through limiting mindsets. I get the part about doing the work, hard work, and not giving up. Stretching ourselves. Yeah, that's necessary.

I did not do all the steps & exercises. However, I did ponder the question, "How could I..." not necessarily regarding 'desires' but in situations ranging from treating loved ones better, awareness of my responses, as well as stretching creatively.

So I guess we take what we can use... and plug along.

I agree Andrea...there was a lot that didn't work for me in this chapter but I took what did and made the most of it. I like what you said -- "we take what we can use...and plug along."

Yeah there's bits that resonate and others that grate. I guess we just take what we personally need from it - what suits us (without hiding from the truth though!)

Thanks for sharing your week of creativity. I also took what I could from this chapter and left the rest, like a recipe sometimes you tweak the ingredients to your taste.

Karen D says it all.

Take what you can and leave the rest. That is the key to the whole book.

I do find it interesting that so many of us are CREATIVELY finding our way around this book!

I think you've got a wonderful attitude... use what truly resonates with you and let go of the rest. Isn't that what the journey toward joy is all about? :)

Love your card!

I really like the way you approach the book. I think it is great you are taking helpful things and leaving behind the rest.
