The Language of Flowers

I bought this book a few months ago and am finally reading it. The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. At first I wasn't sure if I'd get into it. The main character is a teenage girl who is a product of the foster-care system. But I am totally into the story and about 1/3 way through.
What initially drew my interest was the actual Victorian language of flowers as I've always loved flowers, been curious of their meanings, and that I live in a Victorian house. There is even a dictionary of flowers at the end of the book. What a fun treat.
