A little adventure to Lake Tahoe & Virginia City is in the works. First a little fun and games, and an anticipated return to LewMarNels for a nice filet mignon (mmmm, can't wait).
Sadly the Ponderosa Ranch closed indefinitely in 2004. Since watching some Bonanza shows, I've come to admire the integrity of Ben Cartwright. His character is strong, brave, loyal, just, and kind. The man shows no fear.
Then we're off to Virginia City , a historic mining town which offers preserved Victorian-era inspiration. And how about this little nugget, "Discover the place where Mark Twain took his penname and began his writing career."
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. ~ Mark Twain

Hope you have a great trip, Andrea. I am such a road trip junkie! I will be riding my motorcycle to Michigan and hitting lots of great places in between in July and August. I can't wait!
Let us know how your Tahoe trip goes.
