September Start

September is my birthday month, Jewish New Year, and back-to-school which for me, tends to feel like a fresh start.

For my birthday I had a beautiful day and apple pie a la mode complete with candle and a wish.

For back-to-school I'm taking Susannah's e-course this month. She's provided great content and it's time to get back to some actual blogging. I'm going to create labels for different subjects I love and want to share about, along with reflections about life in general.

I'll share books I'm reading since I love them so...

Currently reading:
The Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz - a positive reminder
The Identity Code, Larry Ackerman (thanks Galina) - to help with livelihood goal below.
Chasing Sylvia Beach, a Novel, Cynthia Morris - a fan of Cynthia's e-course/coaching & blog
Next in line:
The Language of Flowers, a Novel, Vanessa Diffenbaugh
I Remember Nothing, Nora Ephron
You can Buy Happiness (and It's Cheap):How One Woman Radically Simplified Her Life and How You Can Too, Tammy Strobel

For the new year, I am trying things like kickboxing, create new paintings, write poetry again, grow more salad veggies..., and I'd like to make new friends. Mostly, I want to figure out and work toward a more suitable and sustainable livelihood so I don't die a cubicle drone.

Are you making any new starts in September?

I remember taking the Four Agreements from the library. But for some reason...

And I'm glad you are enjoying The Identity Code. I hope to hear all about the discoveries you make! :)
